Dimebag Squeal Lesson

This is a guitar shred lesson of how to do a 'Dimebag Squeal'. You will be better off doing this on a Floyd Rose bridge locking system. Your guitar will get out of tune if you do not… I hope you all enjoy, rate comment, and check out my other videos. Thanks for watching! -Daniel …

I already knew how to squeal like dimegab….had trouble learning though cuz the video I checked out wasn’t MERELY as well explained as yours! Hey,questions for ya:
-How much did you pay your schecter C1 ?
-What do you think are better pickups for distortion (pantera, metallica kind of stuff)between jackson original pickups and EMGs? I wanna know because I’m thinking of changing the Jackson pickups on my jackson kelly. The neck one doesn’t work anymore….

and .. you get alot of a better harmonic sound with some distortion lol

maybe your not touching lightly on the right part of the fret, try lightly tapping the harmonic over the fret bar, thats how it works best for me

The best type of bridge system to do these squeals on IS a Floyd Rose bridge. That is what I am using in this video. Duncan Designed pickups are great pickups for distortion including squeals and I actually have those pickups on my Schecter C1+ guitar. The settings you need when you do squeals should be: Set your pickup switch to the bridge pickup(bottom switch) , turn on lots of gain, and turn all knobs on your guitar all the way up. I hope I helped! :-)

hi,I have a Jackson KVX10 King V, with floyd can i do those too?I know I have to dump the string and then lightly touch it.. but the sond i get isnt close to what you are doing ^^Is it because i do something wrong? Or do i have the wrong pickups?(ducan design Picups, don’t know what the ful name is)or the wrong amp?(that could be because its a crappy discounter amp, but tommorow i will get a better one)well anyway PLEAASE let me have a piece of your knoweledge^^ I want to do this sooooo bad!

Put your first finger under the string (while the tremelo bar is lowered). Flick or hit the string triggering it to make a note. The rest is in the video. If you are having problems send me a message. :-)
