Is it possible to play a piano song from using guitar tabs?

asked:
I’m wondering if It’s possible to figure out how to play a song that normally has guitar chords/tabs on the piano by figuring out how to transpose the notes.
If it’s possible how is it done or how could I learn how to do it?
Thanks!

Yes you can. A normal piece of sheet music has piano notes and guitar chords, but each guitar chord is also a piano chord! For example if the chord is “G” for guitar, you can play “G” chord in the left hand while you either pick out the melody by ear or play along with the vocal line if it is a piano/vocal/guitar sheet as most sheet music is.
